Temple Health is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging echocardiography technologist to perform a range of echocardiographic studies under the direction of senior staff. The role includes gathering patient data, reporting critical findings to physicians, and maintaining equipment and certifications.

The position requires a cardiovascular ultrasound program from an accredited school and a bachelor’s degree, with preferred Cardiac Sonographer licensure.

Qualifications

• Trade school ultrasound program with cardiovascular focus.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Preferred license: Reg Cardiac Sonographer or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer.

Responsabilités

• Performs echocardiography studies under the direction of a Cardiologist, Manager, Assistant Manager or Lead Technologist.
• Gathers and documents data and reports critical findings to physicians.
• Maintains certification/registration with approved credentialing agencies.
• Conducts 2-D, 3-D, m-mode, Doppler, color Doppler, strain and stress echocardiograms.
• Prepares and instructs the patient, performs the study to obtain maximum quality results.
• Cleans and maintains proper functioning of equipment, enters patient data in computer systems.

• Preferred Experience 1 year experience in Echocardiography
