Baystate Health is seeking an experienced echocardiography technologist to perform clear and concise echocardiography and stress echo with Doppler, color flow, and pulsed wave analysis in a fast-paced lab in Massachusetts.

The incumbent must recognize abnormal findings, inform the cardiologist promptly, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with the health care team. Minimum 24 months of full-time clinical echocardiography experience required.

Summary

Incumbent performs clear and concise echocardiography and stress echo including Doppler, color flow, and pulsed wave analysis. Incumbent must be able to recognize and diagnostically enhance abnormal findings for physician and demonstrate the ability to make sound judgments; inform cardiologist of any acute findings, and have excellent communication and organizational skills to interact with all members of the health care team.

• 6) Adheres to established policies/procedures. Demonstrates current knowledge, skills and competency including but not limited to: Obtaining a clear and concise image of cardiac structures; demonstrates knowledge in use of all equipment; knows accurate positioning; completes all paperwork; troubleshoots echo machine; ability to provide age specific data from adolescence to geriatric; communication skills necessary to perform age-specific test from pediatric to geriatric.

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
