Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting. You will collaborate with a care team to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging for patients.

The role requires ARDMS in AE and/or PR, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of an accredited echo program. BLS is required; ACLS preferred, with pediatric echocardiography possible under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program or accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• Pediatric echocardiography may substitute for ARDMS with cardiologist validation.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
