Position Summary:
As an Echocardiograph Technologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions through the use of advanced cardiac ultrasound technology. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, helping to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to assess heart function and structure.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety during procedures.
  • Document findings and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Educate patients on procedures, addressing any concerns and providing a reassuring presence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:Graduate of an accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent training.
  • Certifications:
    • Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
    • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
    • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
