Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform transthoracic echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal and stress echocardiograms. You will complete worksheets, process reports, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives under the Cardiovascular Imaging Manager.

The role requires a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound degree (CAAHEP-accredited) and professional certification (ARDMS/CCI) with BLS.

This posting is for multiple openings of Echocardiograph Technologist at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, WA.

Provides quality care to patients. Performs transthoracic echocardiograms proficiently on inpatients and outpatients. Assists physicians with technical aspect of transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. Completes patient worksheets and processes reports according to department guidelines. Participates in the development of the Echocardiology department by active participation in quality improvement. Works closely with the Cardiovascular Imaging Manager on all issues affecting the department.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree from a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or a program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience performing adult echocardiography
• Experience with transesophageal and stress echocardiography
