JOB SUMMARY:
Under moderate supervision by the Director of Cardiovascular Service Line, the Echovascular Tech promotes and maintains quality echo and vascular testing practices for the Cardiovascular Services. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Works in patient areas. May be exposed to communicable diseases as well as blood, body fluids, or tissue. May be exposed to chemicals used from cleaning equipment. Must be able to work under stress and be adaptable to new situations. May be subject to injury from strain of moving patients if proper techniques are not used. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently. Schedule will vary on rotating ten hour shifts four days/week. Call requirement for after shift and weekend procedures.

EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Skilled professional with a solid foundation in Echocardiography and Vasular ultrasound. A minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience is preferred.
Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasonography, or specialized training and experience in the specialty area(s).
Current state certification, licensure or license eligible in states where applicable. Registered with ARDMS (RDCS)and (RVT), or CCI (RVS) and (RCS). CPR or BCLS certification.

7am-5:30 pm (4-10's) and rotating weekend coverage 8am-12pm
$38.25 - $50.60 based on experience. $10,000 Sign on Bonus. 12.5% night shift diff. 5% weekend shift diff.
