Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Registered Echo Technologist to perform cardiovascular imaging and related procedures to aid diagnosis. You will conduct stress echos, transesophageal echo, 2-D echo with M-mode, color flow, and doppler, while maintaining patient records in the EMR system.
You will also assist with EKGs, monitor applications, and ensure HIPAA privacy and quality improvements through CQI activities. Prioritize safety and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Pay Rate: $34.53-$56.86 hourly
The Registered Echo Technologist performs and assists with cardiovascular procedures ordered by physicians to assist in the diagnosis of patients. Performs a wide variety of related duties as assigned, including assisting the physician and staff with other non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures.
Associate or Bachelors of Science degree in Vascular/Echocardiography from an accredited institution for cardiac ultrasound or on the job training with associates degree in Allied Health.
Cardiovascular Credentialing International {CCI}, ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer or registry eligible, and CPR required.
1-2 years of experience as an echocardiography technician preferred, including 2-D echo with M-Mode, spectral, & color flow doppler, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography.
Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
