Job summary

FCCI in Jacksonville, FL seeks a full-time echo/vascular technologist proficient in echocardiography, stress echo, carotid duplex, PVR, venous duplex, and abdominal vascular studies.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology and ARDMS/CCI registration. 1–4+ years of cardiovascular experience and licensure eligibility are preferred. Team-oriented and patient-focused professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or ultrasound program graduate.
• Current ARDMS or CCI registration (RCS) preferred.
• One to four plus years in a cardiovascular setting preferred.
• State certification/licensure current or eligible in applicable states.
• Vascular experience may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms to assess heart function and detect abnormalities.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Review and interpret preliminary results for the cardiologist.
• Record and store echocardiogram images and patient data.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team for accurate diagnosis.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals during procedures and ensure well-being.
• Maintain continuing education and stay updated on echocardiography advances.
• Provide patient and family support during diagnostic procedures.
