Job summary

Beloit Health System seeks an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist to join the Vascular Lab. You will perform echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies for ambulatory and hospital patients, including stress echos and TEEs, working closely with physicians to support high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates hold a CHAAHEP ultrasound program credential, ARDMS certification, and are registered in Echo and Vascular within one year.

Qualifications

• Completion of CHAAHEP approved ultrasound program.
• Diploma/Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant field.
• ARDMS required at time of hire with echocardiography or vascular ultrasound certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies.
• Record results and preliminary impressions.
• Communicate with patient and family to enhance experience.
• Review patient records and match requisitions to orders.
• Assist with invasive procedures and stress tests as needed.
• Perform venous and carotid duplex examinations and identify pathologies.
