AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Cardiac Imaging Technologist to join our team. You will set up and adjust cardiac imaging equipment, perform exams, and assist physicians in procedures, while upholding safety standards and quality control.

The role requires BLS and ARDCS/RVS/RCS/RVT credentials, and an Associate degree (preferred) or higher, with 1+ hospital experience preferred. We offer day shifts, full-time hours, competitive pay, benefits from day one, and opportunities for

Job Description

• Shift: day shift week day and weekends
• Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.
• Participates in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Education:
• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ experience in a hospital environment [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RCDS) [Required] OR
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]

Pay Range

$31.86 - $59.27
