AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Cardiac Imaging Technologist to operate and troubleshoot cardiac imaging equipment, perform exams, and assist physicians during procedures.

The role requires BLS, RCDS, RVS, RCS and RVT credentials, plus 1+ year hospital experience. Shift is day with weekends; benefits from day one include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, and a 403-B retirement plan in a faith‑based health system.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography - Registered Diagnostic Cardiography Sonographer (RCDS) required
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) required
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required
• 1+ year hospital environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts all cardiac imaging equipment and maneuvers transducers to perform exams
• Implements safety standards and quality control procedures
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in imaging procedures
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operations
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and keeps equipment sanitized

Job Description

Shift: day shift week day and weekends Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams. Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures. Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency. Participates in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field. Maintains a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized. Other duties as assigned.

• 1+ experience in a hospital environment [Preferred]
