Cardiac Sonographer Requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities; 2+ years preferred.
• ARDMS/RDCS certification required.
• CCI/RCS certification in Echo.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, being self-directed and organized.
• Up-to-date vaccinations as required for hospital employment and passing health screenings, including drug screening and background check.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform proficient medical diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Communicate clinical information and ultrasound findings effectively to radiologists.
• Provide excellent patient care, maintaining rapport and service to hospitals and staff.
• Use systems such as PACS and EMR to manage care data.

Physical Effort:

• Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patients, equipment, and aids. Flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust is necessary.
• Prolonged standing or walking during scans and equipment positioning is required. Physical endurance to perform multiple scans is essential.
