As an Echo Cardiographer, you will provide echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. You will also prepare patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.
You will maintain, compile, calculate and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving
You will complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate period
You will maintain education and development appropriate for position
High school or GED; Associate’s degree preferred
Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS)
CPR required
One year of experience
Basic computer skills, ultrasound equipment and probes
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
High School Graduate / GED
(RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
