HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist for its Port Charlotte location. Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services.

Job Summary

As an Echo Technologist, you will provide echocardiographic and non‑invasive cardiologic examination services to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. You will also prepare patients for exams, monitor progress and record results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, compile, calculate and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
• Complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate period.
• Maintain education and development appropriate for position.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited, approved program in Sonography.
• Registry required eligible from The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• BLS certification.
• One to three years of experience.
• Basic computer skills, ultrasound equipment and probes.
