Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist for a 13-week contract in a top imaging department. The role centers on echocardiography within an interdisciplinary team dedicated to quality patient care.

Responsibilities include transthoracic and stress echocardiograms, acquiring high-quality images, documenting findings, and maintaining complete patient records while upholding infection control and safety. ARDMS or CCI certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

  • Active ARDMS or CCI certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Competent in echocardiographic imaging and instrumentation.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with healthcare providers.

Job description

Make an impact in patient care as an experienced Echo Technologist in a top-tier imaging department. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment, providing a valuable opportunity to showcase your expertise in echocardiography while working with an interdisciplinary team committed to quality outcomes.

Schedule:

  • 5 days per week
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification in ARDMS or CCI required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated competency in echocardiographic imaging and instrumentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cardiac ultrasound studies, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms
  • Use advanced imaging equipment to collect optimal cardiac images for physician interpretation
  • Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and contribute to patient safety at all times
  • Accurately document findings and maintain complete, organized patient records
  • Work closely with cardiologists and other clinicians, delivering high-quality, professional patient care
  • Provide guidance and support to patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the exam process

$2,012 - $2,122/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
