Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an Echo Technologist for a contract role in Cincinnati, OH. The position emphasizes diagnostic imaging, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and delivering high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms to support patient care.

You will work Monday to Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm (2nd shift), perform IV access, administer Definity contrast when appropriate, document findings promptly, and ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained.

Qualifications

• Proficient in performing transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Ability to start IVs efficiently and safely.
• Experience with Definity contrast injections.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Certification as an Echo Technologist or equivalent with current credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and administer Definity contrast agents per safety protocols.
• Initiate and manage IV access for imaging procedures.
• Accurately document findings and report critical values promptly.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of ultrasound equipment.
• Support patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

This contract role offers a competitive local pay rate, aligning with your experience and dedication.

$2,322 - $2,448/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
