We are looking for a Part-Time Echo Technologist Assistant who will utilize our core values of Love & Excellence to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Primary Function

• Perform duties alongside Sonographers, CV nurses, and Cardiologists. Provide patient care and assist technical staff with imaging procedures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Scan patients under the supervision of a staff Cardiac Sonographer.
• Assist with escorting patients to and from Non-Invasive Lab.
• Prepare imaging rooms for procedures, ensuring quick turnaround for high volume needs.
• Assist Lead Sonographer in organizing the daily patient schedule, including transportation arrangements.
• Assist with creating and maintaining physician on-call schedules.
• Prepare Definity Contrast.
• Clean and disinfect TEE probes after use.
• Order supplies for Echo lab.
• Use CV supported software, including Power Chart, Ascend, Soarian, I-Site, and Cerner products.
• Request and obtain medical records in preparation for patient exams.
• Schedule routine and complex CV procedures.
• Burn CDs/DVDs of CV procedures for outside requests.
• Assist with information maintenance/collection for IAC re-accreditation.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
