HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital seeks an Echo Technician to join a multidisciplinary team delivering cardiac diagnostics including echocardiograms and related procedures. The role requires knowledge of 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and transesophageal echocardiograms, as well as clinical and clerical duties within the Echo department.

Qualifications include BLS within 30 days, a Vocational School Graduate background, and RVT preferred.

• Vocational School Graduate as minimum education.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Echo Technician is a participation member of a multidisciplinary team providing cardiac diagnostics for Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & HI. A knowledge base is essential in cardiac pathology and anomalies of echocardiology, 2D, M-mode, Doppler echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms, human behavior and emergency procedures/safety as per policy and procedure. This position requires knowledge of daily operations of the ECHO department in clinical and clerical duties.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
• RVT Preferred
