Join us as an Echo Technologist at CommonSpirit Health

We are seeking a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our team. This role involves producing two-dimensional cardiac ultrasonic recordings to evaluate the heart's anatomy and blood flow, aiding in disease diagnosis and organ malfunction studies. Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures such as stress echos, bubble studies, and contrast echos, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and perform ultrasound tests based on physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Provide patient care across all age groups during ultrasound exams and procedures.
  • Review and compile clinical data for physician interpretation.
  • Perform general office duties including scheduling, record keeping, and supply management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound/echo program.
  • One year of post-graduate experience in cardiac ultrasound or demonstrated proficiency in diagnostics or ultrasound.
  • Current registration with ARDMS or certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

Employees without ARDMS registration have up to one year from hire to obtain it.

Pay Range: $42.92 - $62.48 per hour
