Title: Echo Technician (Flex/PRN/Part-Time/Full-Time)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Schedule: Flexible (PRN, Part-Time, Full-Time Opportunities)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Echo Technician to join our dynamic team in a flexible capacity. The candidate will perform echocardiographic procedures across multiple locations, working with diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, congenital, and CVOR cases. The role emphasizes safety and a people-centric culture, with access to advanced imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms using Philips IE33 and Epiq CVx equipment.
  • Document findings and maintain records using Epic EMR and Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular PACS.
  • Analyze and interpret diagnostic test results, providing preliminary reports to physicians.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Manage a workload of approximately 6-7 patients per day.
  • Work a rotating schedule across multiple locations.
  • Complete 6 weekend shifts per year as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotation with minimal call-back rates.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Follow hospital policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Associate’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Certifications:
    • Current BLS Provider Certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
    • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS).
  • Strong technical knowledge of echocardiographic equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations with a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
