Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound exams under physician direction.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff and patients.
• Prepare patient, educate on procedure, ensure safety and comfort.
• Document results and apply charges for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and work area; assist with repairs and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students; participate in education opportunities.
