Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (preferred).
• 1+ year of echocardiography experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams; educate patient and family; ensure safety.
• Communicate patient needs with physicians and team during exams.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, work area and stock supplies; coordinate repairs.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and educational opportunities.
