Overview: Works under the supervision of the Office Manager and the Physicians. The Echo Technologist performs echocardiographic studies utilizing ultrasound techniques. The Echo Technologist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assess data reflective of patient status and to assist in the interpretation of this information. The Echo Technologist is responsible and accountable for competent echocardiographic ultrasound examinations. Also, the Echo Technologist is responsible for effectively communicating with staff to ensure patient quality care and is motivated with good interpersonal skills.
