The Registered Echo Technician role focuses on performing echocardiograms and related duties, with day shift 8:00am-4:30pm and on-call requirements, offering sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a two-year Cardiovascular Technologist program.
• Active RDCS registry with ARDMS OR RCS with CCI certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, physicians and other caregivers.

Responsabilités

• Perform echocardiograms, stress tests, stress echoes and Dobutamine stress echoes.
• Assist cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Consult with cardiologists for interpretation of test results.
• Maintain records of testing documentation.
• Provide daily account of patient charges with ICD codes.
• Provide training and act as a resource for echocardiogram students, residents and physicians.
• Provide testing for add-on emergency patients.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation and files.
