Job summary

Medical City Frisco, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Echo Technician PRN to perform echocardiography and related non-invasive cardiology lab duties. The role requires punctual attendance and the ability to prepare documentation for each procedure, reporting results to a supervisor.

Qualifications include an associate degree, BCLS, and required ARDMS/CCI registrations; 1–3 years in echocardiography preferred. This PRN position includes diverse benefits and opportunities within the HCA network.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree from an accredited program.
  • RDCS/ARDMS/RCS/RDMS certifications required.
  • 1 year experience in Echocardiography or Sonography.
  • Graduate of an accredited program with Associates degree.
  • CCI or ARDMS registration preferred.

Hours: Monday and Tuesday 7- 5:30 pm, 1 Saturday shift per month 9-4 pm, on call Monday and Tuesday Night, and 1 weekend each month

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for performing technical functions required and associated with Echocardiography and a non-invasive Cardiology laboratory.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs echocardiography and noninvasive procedures
  • Prepares documentation with each procedure
  • Reports observations, results and patient needs to appropriate person.
  • Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
  • (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (CCT) Certified Cardiographic Technician, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited program with Associates degree
  • CCI or ARDMS Registered required, BLS required
  • 1-3 years in Echocardiography or Sonography
