Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Echo Technician to perform echocardiograms across skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will acquire diagnostic images to aid cardiology providers in patient diagnoses and treatment planning.

The role requires RDCS certification, a degree in diagnostic sonography, and willingness to travel. Strong communication, compassion for geriatric patients, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification required.
  • Prior experience performing echocardiograms required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with the geriatric population.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort and safety throughout testing.
  • Identify and document anatomical and functional cardiac findings.
  • Accurately document procedures and upload studies to designated systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
  • Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assigned.
  • Prolonged standing/sitting. Assisting with patient positioning. Operating diagnostic equipment. Lifting/moving patients.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technician to join our growing team.
