Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Echo Tech/Sonographer to perform comprehensive echocardiograms for adult and pediatric patients, including stress tests. The role supports TAVR and RAMP procedures with emphasis on quality imaging and patient care.

The position requires RDCS/ RCS credentials or progress toward them, a cardiovascular ultrasound program graduate, and at least 1 year of experience. On-site work with competitive benefits and supportive team is provided.

In this role, you'll be responsible for completing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms for outpatient and inpatients. Techs also support TAVR and RAMP cases done in the Cath Labs for pre and post imaging. This is a full-time position working Wednesday - Saturday Wednesday 6:00am - 4:00pm Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm Saturday 6:00am - 3:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
• Adult Echocardiography (AE)
• Experience in a hospital setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 1 year of hire
• At least 1 year of experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support - AHA
