Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an Echo Tech / Sonographer for adult and pediatric patients. The role involves performing echocardiograms and stress tests using advanced imaging, including 3D Echo, in a fast-paced hospital setting in New York.

The candidate will support TAVR and RAMP imaging in Cath Labs and must have a cardiovascular ultrasound program background with RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year of hire, and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program graduate.
• RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year of hire.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms for outpatient and inpatient care.
• Support TAVR and RAMP cases with pre- and post-imaging in Cath Labs.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation.

In this role, you'll be responsible for completing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms for outpatient and inpatients. Techs also support TAVR and RAMP cases done in the Cath Labs for pre and post imaging. This is a full-time position working Wednesday - Saturday

• Wednesday 6:00am - 4:00pm
• Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm
• Saturday 6:00am - 3:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
• Adult Echocardiography (AE)
• Experience in a hospital setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 1 year of hire
• At least 1 year of experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support - AHA
