Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking an Echo Tech / Sonographer for adult and pediatric cases. This full-time morning role involves performing echocardiograms and stress tests for inpatients and outpatients, and supporting TAVR/RAMP imaging in Cath Labs on-site.

The position requires a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate, RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year of hire, and at least 1 year of experience, plus BLS. Live within commutable distance to NYP.

Join our top-notch team, and help adult and pediatric patients with rare, critical conditions. In this role, you'll be responsible for completing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms for outpatient and inpatients. Techs also support TAVR and RAMP cases done in the Cath Labs for pre and post imaging.

This is a full-time position working Wednesday - Saturday

• Wednesday 6:00am - 4:00pm

• Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm

• Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm

• Saturday 6:00am - 3:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)

• Adult Echocardiography (AE)

• Experience in a hospital setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED

• Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 1 year of hire

• At least 1 year of experience

• Basic Cardiac Life Support - AHA
