Job summary

Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Registered Echo Tech to perform high quality echocardiography imaging and exams while prioritizing patient needs. You will lead fellow technologists and serve as a clinical resource to ensure standards of practice are upheld within the imaging department.

Candidates must be an RDCS or RCS, with HS GED and BLS certification. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, with a supportive team and professional development opportunities on site in Longmont, Colorado.

We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. As a Registered ECHO Tech you will perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs while following standards of safe radiation practice. We ask that as a Registered ECHO Tech you always demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, and act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Job Requirements

• HS GED or equivalent required
• BLS through American Heart Association required
• Currently registered as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Physical Requirements: Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range

$37.59 - $63.31 /hour
