Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking experienced Echo Techs for a clinic-based role covering Pinehurst and Laurinburg locations in North Carolina. The position involves performing comprehensive cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients and reporting critical findings to physicians.

This in-person role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance based on the offer and benefits include robust health coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Formal training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology.
• At least 1 year of echo experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
• Reliable transportation and valid NC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients using 2D echocardiography, M-mode, and color Doppler.
• Collect and evaluate clinical data and report life-threatening findings promptly to physicians.

We are looking for experienced local Echo Techs, or experienced out-of-state Echo Techs looking to relocate to NC to join our nationally recognized hospital system for a Full-Time position!

Clinic based Echo Tech position- no weekends, holidays, or on call. This is not a remote position.

• Will be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients utilizing 2D echocardiography, M-mode, and echocardiography with color flow/doppler.
• Will be responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data while recognizing and reporting life-threatening findings in a timely manner to physician.

*Clinic Based Echo Tech position-Cardiology Clinic. Will be working 3 days at our Pinehurst Clinic and 2 days at our Laurinburg Clinic.

• Associate degree or Higher level
