Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking experienced Echo Technologists for a full-time, clinic-based role in North Carolina. You will perform cardiac ultrasounds on adults using 2D echocardiography, M-mode and color flow/Doppler, while evaluating data and promptly reporting critical findings to physicians.

The position is based in a cardiology clinic, with responsibilities across Pinehurst and Laurinburg locations, and offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Echo/Cardiovascular Technology required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Formal training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology required.
• At least 1 year of echo experience required.
• RDCS or RCS registration required.
• Reliable transportation and NC driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients using 2D echocardiography, M-mode and Doppler.
• Collect and evaluate clinical data and report life-threatening findings to the physician promptly.

We are looking for experienced local Echo Techs, or experienced out-of-state Echo Techs looking to relocate to NC to join our nationally recognized hospital system for a Full-Time position!

Clinic based Echo Tech position- no weekends, holidays, or on call. This is not a remote position.

• Will be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients utilizing 2D echocardiography, M-mode, and echocardiography with color flow/doppler.
• Will be responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data while recognizing and reporting life-threatening findings in a timely manner to physician.

*Clinic Based Echo Tech position-Cardiology Clinic. Will be working 3 days at our Pinehurst Clinic and 2 days at our Laurinburg Clinic.

Qualifications

Echo Tech (RCS, RDCS) Qualifications

• Associate degree or Higher level
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Formal Training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology required
• At least 1 year of echo experience required
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer RDCS (OR) Registered Cardiac Sonographer RCS required
• Reliable transportation and valid NC driver's license required
