Job summary

Jackson Clinic is seeking a qualified Echocardiography Technician to perform echocardiograms on patients and ensure efficient documentation for timely physician interpretations and patient billing. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, cardiovascular technology training, 2+ years of experience, ARDMS/CCI exams within a year, and BCLS within 6 months, with ACLS preferred.

Strong communication and ability to lift up to 35 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prefer Cardiovascular Technology program graduate.
• 2+ years in cardiovascular technology.
• CCI Cardiovascular Science or ARDMS exam within 1 year of hire.
• BCLS within 6 months; ACLS preferred.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms on patients.
• Coordinate document flow to expedite physician interpretations and patient billing.
• Schedule studies and ensure timely completion of all studies.
• Attend required in-service education to maintain skills.
• Collaborate with department and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
