Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking an Echo Tech for the Non-Invasive Cardiology Service. You will work in an advanced imaging lab, supporting diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, with a focus on achieving high-quality echocardiographic studies.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with rotating weekend coverage; compensation and benefits reflect the hospital’s patient-first commitment. Candidates with RDCS or RCS, BCLS, and 1–3 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification by ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI.
• Experience performing fetal echocardiograms.
• High school diploma or GED; Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program graduate with 1-3 years experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Echo Tech – Non-Invasive Cardiology Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Rotating Weekend Coverage Bring your talents to NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens and become part of our tight-knit team and the only facility in Queens to utilize the some of the most advanced technology to identify coronary plaque and stenosis as well as identify other coronary and vascular anomalies.

Our Echocardiography laboratory is certified by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiographic Laboratories, ensuring that we perform the highest quality studies.

Preferred Criteria

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Experience performing fetal echocardiograms

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED.
• Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate 1-3 years of experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support

Salary Range: $57.45-$68.72/Hourly
