An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Echo Tech to join their Echocardiology unit. **Sign On Bonus Eligible-up to $30K**
Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound directed interventional procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Ultrasound Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Functions:

Education
Education Required: Associate degree
Additional requirements:
Type of degree: Allied Health
Area of study or major: Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree or graduate of an accredited program
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Registry in practiced specialty is required as approved by ARDMS: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (RDCS by ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI.
CPR Certification required
Active member of ARDMS or CCI in Ultrasound
Experience
Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
Preferred experience: 6 to 12 months of clinical experience in Ultrasound
Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient in performing diagnostic procedures and obtaining diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Proficient in CCW/CCI and Image Storage.
Advanced US applications.
Proficient in scanning high acuity patients.
