Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; must be from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols and in a timely manner.
• Prioritize and schedule exams, coordinating with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients, educating them, and transporting as needed.
• Document results, apply charge codes, and maintain equipment and workspace.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
