You’ll perform echocardiograms, explain procedures to patients and ensure correct image placement.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care.
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit.
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help

Responsibilities

• As an Echo Tech, you'll use your ultrasound skills to produce advanced echocardiograms of the patient's heart.
• Echo technicians must be experienced with diagnostic equipment, and you'll work closely with the patient to explain the procedure and get the correct image placement.
• After the procedure, you'll assist with interpreting the results.
