Job summary

GW Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms and related testing in the Washington, DC area. This role includes completing reports and may encompass stress tests and electrocardiograms as required by competency assessments.

The ideal candidate has formal training in diagnostic cardiac sonography, with 2 years of experience and you should be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Formal training program in diagnostic cardiac sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certificate preferred.
• 2 years of recent cardiac sonography experience or comparable training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, testing and completion of reports.
• May perform other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests (stress tests and electrocardiograms) as identified by competency skills assessments.
