Job Summary

The Echocardiograph Technician will provide Echo imaging services in our Hospital and Clinic settings. Studies performed include 2-D and 3-D echo exams, Transesophageal Echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic Stress echocardiograms, and participation in Echos performed during procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center. Opportunities for ongoing training and participation in Quality initiatives are available.

Minimum Qualifications

• Cardiac ultrasound experience and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or eligible required.
• Current CPR-BLS certification required.
• Candidates with cardiac ultrasound experience who are not RDCS, RCS, or eligible will be considered for appointment at a commensurate salary and will be required to obtain registration within one year of hire date.
• Will also consider new grads of a Cardiac Sonographer program with no Cardiac Ultrasound experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates Degree in related health field.
