Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Echo/PV Sonographer to join our dedicated team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment and exam rooms.

The role requires registry in RDMS or RDCS, RVT for vascular studies, and current BLS certification; the position is full-time days with PRN on-call. We offer a family-oriented culture and opportunities for growth within LHSH.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited course for national and/or state registry.
• RDMS or RDCS registration required for general ultrasound and echocardiograms.
• RVT certification required for vascular studies.
• Maintains current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment for each procedure.
• Instruct patients regarding procedures and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain examination rooms and coordinate studies with physicians.
• Follow hospital policies for time, attendance and confidentiality.
• Report issues to supervisor and participate in quality improvement projects.
