Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL, seeks an Echo Cardiology Tech for PRN days with call. You will perform non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, Stress testing and TEE on neonatal, pediatric and adult patients.

Requirements include AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound program completion, 1 year of non-invasive cardiology experience, BLS, and ARDMS/RCIS/ARDMS licensure. The role offers competitive benefits and a supportive team in a high-quality hospital.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound program.
• 1 year experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress.
• Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
• AHA/ARC BLS certification required.
• RCS/RCIS/RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
• ARCS or CCI required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Must perform non-invasive Cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, Stress testing and TEE.
• Able to operate M-mode, 2-D, Color Doppler on various ages.
• Develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.

Job Overview

Must be proficient in non‑Invasive Cardiology studies to include ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE studies. Able to perform M‑mode, 2‑D, Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric and adult patients and all other duties as assigned within the Cardiology department.

General Responsibilities

• Must develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and a “Can do” attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound school.
• 1 Year experience in Non‑Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress, required.
• Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, required.
• RCS / RCIS / RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
• ARCS or CCI required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
