Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking an ECHO Cardiology Tech responsible for non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, stress testing, and TEE across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.

The role requires graduation from an AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound program with 1 year of related experience and BLS certification. Join a team focused on high-quality care and community health.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Echocardiography Ultrasound program.
• 1 year of non-invasive cardiology Echo/EKG/Stress required.
• Adult and pediatric echo experience preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• RCS/RCIS/RCDS or ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
• ARCS or CCI certification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop interdepartmental and physician relations.
• Provide excellent customer service with a can-do attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned within Cardiology.

Job Overview

Must be proficient in non-Invasive Cardiology studies to include ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE studies. Able to perform M-mode, 2-D, Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric and adult patients and all other duties as assigned within the Cardiology department.

General Responsibilities

• Must develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and a "Can do" attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound school.
• 1 Year experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress, required.
• Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, required.
• RCS / RCIS / RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
• ARCS or CCI required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
