Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited, approved program in Sonography.
• Registry/registry eligible from ARDMS.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1 to 3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician order and review patient’s cardiac history.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely.
• Collect clear data for physician analysis.
• Provide communication and explanation of procedures to patients.
• Communicate with cardiologist regarding unusual findings.
