Qualifications

• Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography.
• Certification in BLS, CCI, and RDMS preferred.
• Ability to perform detailed measurements of cardiac structures.
• Knowledge of telemedicine equipment for image transmission.
• Experience with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and in-service education for staff.
• Perform echocardiography procedures including M‑mode, 2D, Doppler, and stress tests.
• Ensure accurate charting, filing and charging of procedures.
• Maintain inventory for echocardiography supplies.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
