Job summary

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of cardiac anatomy and disease processes.
• Ability to perform detailed measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge and use of computerized ultrasound and echocardiography equipment.
• Knowledge and use of telemedicine equipment for image transmission.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training of new personnel.
• Conduct/involve in in-service training classes.
• Perform all aspects of echocardiography (M-mode, 2D, Doppler, stress echo).
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiography.
• Charting, filing, and charging for echocardiography procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for procedures.
