Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for ECG testing.
• Attach electrodes to designated body areas as required.
• Operate the ECG machine and obtain tracing of heart impulses.
• Identify tracing sections by marking electrode positions.
• Note irregularities and report equipment malfunctions to prevent damage.
• Maintain records and files of tracings.
