Job summary

Shakopee School District is seeking a part-time Long Term Substitute ECFE Teacher at Pearson Early Learning Center. The role runs evenings: Nov 16, 2026–Jan 11, 2027 (4:30–6:00 pm) and Jan 25, 2027–May 10, 2027 (5:00–6:30 pm). Duties include instructional delivery, fostering growth, and teamwork with staff.

Ability to engage families, strong communication, and familiarity with parent education are essential. Internal applicants only; open until Nov 11, 2027.

Qualifications

• Valid MN teaching license in Parent and Family Education or Early Childhood Education.
• Must be motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent group facilitation and knowledge of parent education and child development.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to use instructional strategies and technology.
• Prefer 2–3 years of teaching experience.

Description:

Pearson Early Learning Center is searching for a part-time(0.07 FTE) Long Term Substitute (LTS) Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher to join our amazing team of educators to address the diversity of needs and concerns parents may have. This LTS assignment will teach a Monday evening class from November 16, 2026 through January 11, 2027 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, and from Janaury 25, 2027 through May 10,2027 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Job Summary:

Provide instructionin your content area in accordance with each student's ability, create a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth, establish effective working relationships with students, work collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

Pay & Benefits Information:
