Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to exploretheir passions and create their success! Afast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schoolsserves more than 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Work Schedule:Monday - Thursday 8:15am-1:15pm, 1 Tuesday per month 3:45-5:30 for the Advisory Council meeting. Additional hours may be offered as needed.

Position Summary: The Sibling Care Teacher Assistantwill provide care to students in families attending ECFE classes. Children may be approximately 8 weeks to 4 years of age. Parents will not be with the child but will be in the building attending classes.

Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED is required. Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of young children are required.Previous experience with young children ages birth - four years old ina supportive, nurturing environment isrequired.

Salary:From $17.92 to $24.54 depending upon qualifications
