The ECFE parent educator will plan, organize and implement quality parent education for assigned ECFE classes and possess a strong ability to interact and communicate with both parents and children. This position is considered exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

We strongly prefer candidates who have exhibited excellence in collaboration with colleagues, commitment to ECFE program philosophies, and an enthusiasm for working with students. Preferred candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning as evidenced by graduate-level work or an earned degree, as well as participation in professional organization conferences or seminars related to the content area.Previous experience working with early childhood learners and diverse learners preferred. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
The successful candidate must have earned a B.A. degree and current Minnesota State Licensure in Parent Educator.Additional demonstrated qualifications include: commitment to the equitable education of all students, creative planning and organizational skills, and highly effective interpersonal skills.
Current Minnesota Parent Educator license or eligibility, CPR and first aid certification is required.
The starting pay for this position is $33.86. Your initial placement is dependent on your qualifications (education and years of relevant experience).
