Job summary

A local educational service district is seeking substitute teachers for its Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) Preschool classrooms. Applicants must provide several certifications including a cleared background check, CPR/First Aid certification, and proof of immunity against MMR. Substitute teachers will earn $17.13 to $17.14 per hour and will gain sick leave benefits. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide substitute teaching in ECEAP Preschool classrooms.
• Enter application to be part of the substitute pool.
• Respond to requests for substitute positions as needed.

Job description

Substitute Teachers are needed for the Early childhood education and assistance program (ECEAP) Preschool classrooms. Please fill out an application to enter into a sub pool. You will be contacted once the need for additional substitutes is requested.

Requirements: The following is to be provided by each applicant:

• Cleared Portable Background Check
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Food Handlers Card
• MMR Vaccine or Proof of Immunity
• Mandated Reporter Video

Background Check: Must have a cleared background check through MERIT (Department of Children, Youth, and Families, formerly Department of Early Learning)

NOTE: You will not be able to substitute until you have the listed requirement and background check.
